ALPINE FIS LICENCES - 2017/18 SEASON

To take part in any FIS races in the 2017/2018 season, you must register with your Home Nation Governing Body as an alpine competitor for 2018 and have a Full or Limited Alpine FIS Licence for the 2017/18 season issued by British Ski and Snowboard (BSS)

This includes all Seniors, U21 & U18 (YOB 2001 and earlier) entering the FIS races at the English, Scottish, Welsh, British Senior, British Junior Championships and Aiglon FIS races

U16 and younger (YOB 2002 and later) DO NOT require a FIS Licence.

NOTE:  For Licences purchased by 30th June, the Alpine FIS Licence fee is:   Full Licence   160       Limited Licence         90

For licences purchased on or after 1st July, higher fees will apply. (Last year, these were Full Licence 270, Limited Licence 150

Be sure to check that you are registering for 2018, not for 2017. If in doubt, contact your Home Nation office

Once you have registered and paid the appropriate fee, your name will be added automatically to the BASS (for alpine snow racing) and BARTS (for indoor snow & artificial slope racing) seeding databases.

 

Registration Year:  England:  1st November 2017 - 31st October 2018       includes BASS and BARTS seeding  

                                 Scotland:  1st November 2017 - 31st October 2018       includes BASS and BARTS seeding 

                                 Wales:     1st January 2018 - 31st December 2018       includes BASS and BARTS seeding 

 

Your FIS Licence Application will not be processed until your Home Nation has confirmed  your registration for 2018.
